With over a decade of experience producing ambient music, Matthew has cultivated a deep connection to sound as a powerful tool for relaxation and meditation. In 2015, he began working with singing bowls to enhance his meditation practice. Since that time, Matt has developed his own personal “sadhana” using singing bowls and they have had a profound effect on his spiritual journey. Matthew continues to use them in his daily practice to this day.

Simply close your eyes and allow your attention to rest on the sound of the singing bowl. If you lose focus, gently return your attention to the singing bowl. Rinse and repeat.

Trying out a new production style when I'm recording singing bowls. Here I've added a bed of ambient textures to the recording of my live performance. The additional textures include a kick drum beat at 85 bpm, a pad, and a bass track. This is just an experiment and I will be refining it over time.
